Following on the heels of the Fed’s announcement last week of an increase in the federal funds target rate, the Fed has now increased the interest rate paid on Reg. D reserve balances maintained at the Federal Reserve Bank. The new rate, which is paid quarterly, is .50%. [12/22/15]
