CFPB Recovers $107 Million in Relief for More Than 238,000 Mistreated Consumers
The CFPB has returned $107 million to over 238,000 consumers as a result of their May 2015 to August 2015 examination, which uncovered illegal practices involving student loan servicing, consumer reporting, debt collection markets, and mortgage origination and servicing.
