CFPB Offers “Suggested Practices” in Response to Servicemembers’ Complaint Report
In a report covering nearly 30,000 servicemembers complaints over a period of nearly 3 1/2 years, the CFPB offered a list of "suggest practices," including getting an updated mailing address before changing terms of an account and providing clear instructions on how to provide account access to someone designated by the servicemember and what that designated person can or cannot do with the account.
